Simple strength guides, built like a coach would build them
BuddyLifts, since November 2026
BuddyLifts makes strength guides you can follow at the gym or at home, on your phone, with every number in kg and lb. Each guide answers one question clearly, then walks you through the weeks of training that follow from the answer.
The first guide is Skinny Fat to Strong: cut or bulk, answered from your own tape measure, then 12 weeks of sessions.
How a guide is built
- Every number traces to a source. Protein targets, rest times, waist lines, the BMI cut-offs and the safety screens come from our coaching knowledge base, which is built on named sources: WHO, NICE and ACSM guidance and the studies each guide lists on its Sources screen. None of them endorse our products.
- A few rules of thumb are ours. Where a guide uses one, it says so on the screen.
- Safety screens come before anything else. A guide asks the stop questions first and sends you to a doctor or physical therapist when one applies, instead of hoping you will be fine.
- A fact-check and a compliance pass before release. Claims are checked against the sources, and the wording is checked so that nothing promises results nobody can honestly promise.
- Built for a phone at the gym. 360 by 640 screens, tap-to-jump contents, one idea per screen, demo links on every exercise.
What BuddyLifts is not
- Not coaching. Guides are self-run. Nobody reads your numbers and there are no check-ins or replies included.
- Not medical advice. General education only. With an injury, a medical condition or in pregnancy, your doctor's or physical therapist's advice wins over any guide.
- Not a promise. No before and after photos, no promised pounds, kilos, inches or dates.
