Privacy policy

Last updated 8 November 2026

Short version: this site sets no cookies, runs no advertising trackers and has no account system. Checkout happens on Gumroad under Gumroad's privacy policy. The only personal data we hold is what you send us by email.

What this site collects

• No cookies, no sign-in, no forms. There is nothing to type into on buddylifts.com.
• Hosting logs. The site is served by Cloudflare Pages. Like every web host, Cloudflare processes your IP address and request details to deliver the pages and protect against abuse. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
• Cookieless analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies, without fingerprinting and without tracking you across sites. It tells us which pages are read and roughly where visitors come from, nothing about you as a person.
• Buy buttons. Links to Gumroad carry a plain tag (for example "utm_source=buddylifts.com") so Gumroad can show us that a sale came from this site. The tag contains no personal data.

What Gumroad handles

When you buy a guide, Gumroad collects your email address and payment details, processes the payment, delivers the files and sends the receipt. Gumroad is the merchant of record and controls that data under its own privacy policy. We see the buyer email and the purchase, which we use only to answer support requests and process refunds. We do not sell or share it and we do not add you to a mailing list.

Email to us

If you email hello@buddylifts.com or reply to a receipt, we keep the thread for as long as it takes to help you and for our records of refunds. You do not need to send measurements or health details to get help; please do not.

Your rights

Depending on where you live you may have the right to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, or to object to how it is used. Email us and we will act on it. For data Gumroad holds, Gumroad's privacy page explains how to ask them directly.

Children

Our guides are for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top will change with it.
